Introduction
Sediba (meaning 'spring' or 'well' in Sotho) a private game
reserve with two all-
suite game lodges - Letlapala and Letlapa, is an integral part of
the
breathtaking Welgevonden Reserve. Floating between the
towering trees and
the forest floor, each of Sediba's ten suites embraces the
natural
environment whilst offering the ultimate in sumptuous
comfort and
tranquillity. Each hand-crafted suite, with its spacious double
bedroom en
suite and lounge, opens onto a secluded viewing deck. Every detail
has been
carefully chosen to create a refined balance of wild luxury.

Accommodation
at Sediba
Sediba's ten sumptuous, open-plan suites
overlook the majestic Waterberg mountains. No luxury or detail
has been overlooked to create a tranquil haven and a truly unique
wildlife experience. Guests are assured of personal service
around the clock.
Everything about Sediba is expansive, from its
enormous wooden doors to its colossal bedrooms and dance hall-sized
wooden decks. Each suite boasts under floor
heating, air-conditioning and open fireplace. No luxuries have been
spared at Sediba and this will surely be the biggest bedroom you
have ever slept in. Privacy is paramount so you have your own
outdoor Jacuzzi and plunge pool and may wish to have a massage in
your own suite. All suites have telephones and data lines for
connecting to the Internet. Computers are available for use in the
suites. This service is on a 'by request only' basis as some may
prefer not to utilise modern conveniences whilst on safari.

Letlapa
Letlapa ('rock') lodge, situated in a valley with a perennial
stream running
through it. The lodge is linked by boardwalks and wheel-chair
friendly paths.
Letlapa has three suites and two exclusive suites, including one
suite that has
been specially prepared to accommodate our disabled guests. All
facilities are
available to guests staying at either of the Sediba lodges. Each
suite has it's
own private Jacuzzi, which is kept pre-warmed for use.
Sediba's exclusive
suites are larger, with even more spacious viewing decks and
stand-by waiters.
Each lodge hosts a maximum of ten guests at a time.

Letlapala
Letlapala ('the place of the sun')
lodge is aptly named, situated on one of the
highest points of the reserve, it basks in both sunrise and sunset
and has
spectacular views over the valleys. The more intimate of the two
lodges,
Letlapala has four suites and one exclusive suite, all designed to
blend into the
environment while providing every comfort. Each suite has it's own
private
Jacuzzi. These are kept pre-warmed for use. All five-star meals,
prepared by
gourmet chefs, a selection of drinks, game drives and bush walks,
as well as
gym and steam room facilities are included in the daily tariff.
Facilities
& Activities at Sediba
Mealtimes are pleasurable experiences at Sediba and can be served in
various
locations where our chefs create mouth-watering masterpieces for
your
enjoyment. Both lodges boast fully stocked bars with a wide
selection of local
and international drinks. All local beers, ciders, soft drinks, and
house wine are
complimentary. Guests are requested to freely browse through our
vintage wine
cellar or ask our chefs to recommend a wine to complement their
meal. Room
service is available 24 hours a day. Should you require anything
from our
room service menu, it is only a phone call away.
A
fully equipped gym and steam room are available at no extra
charge. Sediba also offers a health and beauty centre
for health and beauty treatments which includes aromatherapy,
facials, pedicures and massages. Each suite and the main lodges have
a selection of reading material. A 'spaza' shop is a traditional
name given to a general dealer usually situated in a rural area
which sell a variety of merchandise and curios. Guests can visit our
spaza shop at Letlapa lodge for curios, a range of clothing,
artworks and general items such as camera batteries, film and
sunscreen.

Wildlife at Sediba
Two game drives are offered daily - early morning and
afternoon or evening.
Morning drives have a tea/coffee stop with muffins and scones and
breakfast
being served upon return. Afternoon/evening drives depart after
high tea and
return before dinner with a sun-downer stop, weather and game
movement
permitting. Guided walks are offered, usually in the
mornings after breakfast,
but can be arranged at other times. At Sediba you will find that
our experienced
and knowledgeable rangers are more than willing to advise and talk
about any
aspect pertaining to the environment and conservation in general.
Letlapala
lodge has a game-viewing hide. A ranger will be available to
answer any
questions you may have about the wildlife you will encounter.
