Jaci's Safari Lodge

Luxury accommodation at Jaci's Safari Lodge

   Jaci's Safari Lodge has eight thatched rooms, each with en-suite
   bathroom and magnificent outside shower. Six of the rooms have twin
   beds and the other two have a king size four poster bed. Each room has
   a hand made ceramic fireplace surrounded by a stone chimney. The
   deck in front of the room allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding
   sights and smells of the bushveld - whilst watching the animals walking
   past to drink. The walls in the bathroom are built using natural rock
   and the bath was constructed on site. In order to create a "tented feel"
   the rooms have canvas sides. Children sharing with their parents are
   comfortably accommodated on camping stretchers in the rooms.

Jaci's Tree Lodge

Luxury accommodation at Jaci's Tree Lodge   Jaci's Tree Lodge has 8 "Tree Houses", each encompassing a giant
   Tamboetie or Leadwood Tree. Each “Tree House” is constructed
   amongst the Riverine forest on stilts, up to 4 meters from the ground.
   In these spacious “Tree Houses” – built utilising a combination of
   rosewood, thatch and stacking doors - the forest surrounds are invited
   in, to compliment your stay with us. An open plan, en-suite bathroom
   with an enormous stone bath and outdoor “Jungle Shower” allow you to
   enjoy your forest surrounds. Relax, on the deck in front of your room,
   in the main lodge or wander to the forest pool to cool off. Raised
   wooden walkways link all the rooms to the main lodge.

Jaci's Nare Suite

Luxury accommodation in the Nare Suite at Jaci's Lodges   Jaci's Nare Suite: This exciting addition to Jaci’s is an exclusive “bush
   retreat”- so named because of the resident Buffalo Bull who frequents
   the waterhole in front of the Suite (along with the numerous other
   animal visitors). The Nare Suite accommodates a maximum of 4
   guests, is the latest addition to Jaci’s.

   The Nare Suite bedrooms each have open plan bathrooms, with a hand
   made “rock” bath and outdoor “safari” shower. A wooden viewing deck
   overlooks a fabulous water hole and encompasses a private swimming
   pool. The lounge and outdoor dining area, overlook a wooden viewing deck and an active water hole encompassing a private swimming pool. Equipped with a self contained kitchen – our chefs can prepare meals for you in the luxury of your own retreat. Equipped with a private game vehicle and professional guide you are assured of a bush breakaway to be remembered and repeated.

Facilities & Activities at Jaci's Lodges

Relaxation at Jaci's Lodges   Meals come from an ultra modern kitchen, spotless, in full view of the dining area.
   Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the boma under the stars, or out in
   the bush on a "braai", surrounded by nature. Upstairs there is a quiet reading space.
   There is also a well-stocked ethnic craft shop.

   Between the early morning and evening game drives and walks, there is a cool
   swimming pool overlooking the river. Paddle your own canoe, lie in a hammock, sip an
   ice-cold drink, watch the birds, the butterflies and beasts, relax, unwind. The day, the
   place, the ambience are yours, in peace.  Children aged 7 years and under are taken on
   their own Game Drive during the day by one of our rangers - this is a kiddie's drive and
   is geared totally to the children's interests and age level.  Baby sitters are provided to
   look after the "littlies" while the parents are on the Game Activities.

Wildlife at Jaci's Lodges

Situated in the MALARIA FREE Madikwe Game Reserve boasting 75,000 hectares of African Big Five 'territory.' You can also expect to see Wild Dog, both Black and White Rhino, extensive plains game, including Sable, Gemsbok, Springbok and Giraffe, as well as over 340 species of birds.
